The Coal Baron Board Game is a worker placement game for 2 to 4 players with games lasting about 1 hour. The strong theme of the game takes you bakc to the management of a coal mining company in the beginning of hte 20th century.

This precious resource was vital for the production of power and heat in both industry and homes at the time. It was therefore as prized as gold.

Carefully manage your finances and works to develop your company by digging tunnels for new coal veins. Extract this precious resource and transport it to the surface to fulfil and deliver your customers’ orders before the end of each works’ shift. With rich and strategic depth, this game is now enhanced with deluxe quality components.

Preordered a large kickstarter that ran into recurring delays. Aside that aspect (waited almost a year extra) which is out of their control, I’m very satisfied with my order, now that it’s received. I'm kicking myself for ever buying any games from Amazon. MUCH happier to buy from this newly discovered local shop, run by friendly employees. (As well as friendly fellow customers with great advice!) Some of their prices were cheaper than I've seen on Amazon!I could spend ages in this shop. I had an excellent experience ordering from More Than Meeples online.Being a physical store, rather than a service that replies on multiple suppliers of varying reliability, their ability to accurately report on stock is an increasingly rare delight. It might sound like a strange thing to praise, but having had a few recent experiences ordering online from other stores, and then being told weeks later that the stock had never been there and being issues a refund, this was a very nice change.The staff were also wonderful to deal with. They were helpful, and very fast with getting back to me to resolve any queries I had.I had a very positive experience with this store. They were transparent, and reliable.
