The Graphic Novel Adventures – Sherlock Holmes the Beginningis a comic combined with a game, one title in a series subtitled “The comic in which you are the hero”. You embody a character in a immersive story in which your choices guide your progress. You have a character sheet akin to those used in role-playing games that tracks your possessions, your special abilities, your coins, and your victory points. In general, gameplay consists in following the comic’s panels — which contain clues, riddles and traps — and making choices about where to go and what to do, while using your visual perception to collect clues and be smart enough to resolve the riddles. As in any game, you can lose — sometimes really badly!

Preordered a large kickstarter that ran into recurring delays. Aside that aspect (waited almost a year extra) which is out of their control, I’m very satisfied with my order, now that it’s received. Delivery was swift and painless once it got dispatched. Maybe I’ll steer away from preorders for a while, and order only what’s available upfront.

Brilliant games shop for anyone with an interest in games. From the serious gamer such as Warhammer/D&D, to the family sitting around a board game at a table, they have what you are looking for. And the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I'm kicking myself for ever buying any games from Amazon. MUCH happier to buy from this newly discovered local shop, run by friendly employees. (As well as friendly fellow customers with great advice!) Some of their prices were cheaper than I've seen on Amazon!I could spend ages in this shop. Does the same thing to me that a bookstore does.Would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those trying to have less screen time and more connecting time. I had an excellent experience ordering from More Than Meeples online.Being a physical store, rather than a service that replies on multiple suppliers of varying reliability, their ability to accurately report on stock is an increasingly rare delight. It might sound like a strange thing to praise, but having had a few recent experiences ordering online from other stores, and then being told weeks later that the stock had never been there and being issues a refund, this was a very nice change.The staff were also wonderful to deal with.
