In The Mountain Goats Board Game you work to move your goats to the top of 6 different mountains where they can score points as long as they stay there. You can share spaces with other goats on the way up, but there is only room for one goat at the top of each mountain. If someone else’s goat moves to the mountain top, they will kick you off and you’ll have to start your trek over.

It’s a game about timing. You need to not just get to the top of the mountain, but get there when no one else is in position to knock you off.

It’s a game about keeping your eye on your opponents. Maximizing your score, but also making sure you don’t let anyone else score too much.

There is the fun chance to knock each other off the mountain. But it doesn’t feel too mean because you can only knock back goats that are in a scoring position, and it isn’t a huge setback. It is just a normal part of the cycle of the game.

I ordered a must have game all the way from Norway.I forgot to add one item, and due to the long and expensive shipping, I was afraid that all hope was gone. But I sendt an e-mail to customer support and got a reply almost instantly, and they fixed the order for me. Super fast and good service. Only bad thing for me is that its on the other side of the world, so shipping is to expensive for me. With the local 10A$ flat shipping rate i wold definitive used them more if i lived in AU

Preordered a large kickstarter that ran into recurring delays. Aside that aspect (waited almost a year extra) which is out of their control, I’m very satisfied with my order, now that it’s received. I'm kicking myself for ever buying any games from Amazon. MUCH happier to buy from this newly discovered local shop, run by friendly employees. I had an excellent experience ordering from More Than Meeples online.Being a physical store, rather than a service that replies on multiple suppliers of varying reliability, their ability to accurately report on stock is an increasingly rare delight. It might sound like a strange thing to praise, but having had a few recent experiences ordering online from other stores, and then being told weeks later that the stock had never been there and being issues a refund, this was a very nice change.The staff were also wonderful to deal with. They were helpful, and very fast with getting back to me to resolve any queries I had.I had a very positive experience with this store. They were transparent, and reliable.
