Vinhos (the Portuguese word for ‘wines’) is a trading and economic game about the business of wine making. Despite its small size, Portugal is one of the world’s leading wine producers. Over six years of harvests, cultivate your vines, choose the best varieties, hire the best oenologists, take part in trade fairs, and show your opponents you are the best winemaker in the game.

As winemakers in Portugal, the players develop their vineyards and produce wine to achieve maximum profit. The object of the game is to produce quality wines that can be exchanged for money or victory points.

The Vinhos Board Game Deluxe Edition features new art from Ian O’Toole, all components and improved rules of the original game of Vinhos, and a new simplified version of the game. The board is double-sided and features both versions of the game.

Preordered a large kickstarter that ran into recurring delays. Aside that aspect (waited almost a year extra) which is out of their control, I’m very satisfied with my order, now that it’s received. Delivery was swift and painless once it got dispatched. Maybe I’ll steer away from preorders for a while, and order only what’s available upfront.

I'm kicking myself for ever buying any games from Amazon. MUCH happier to buy from this newly discovered local shop, run by friendly employees. (As well as friendly fellow customers with great advice!) Some of their prices were cheaper than I've seen on Amazon!I could spend ages in this shop. I had an excellent experience ordering from More Than Meeples online.Being a physical store, rather than a service that replies on multiple suppliers of varying reliability, their ability to accurately report on stock is an increasingly rare delight. It might sound like a strange thing to praise, but having had a few recent experiences ordering online from other stores, and then being told weeks later that the stock had never been there and being issues a refund, this was a very nice change.The staff were also wonderful to deal with. They were helpful, and very fast with getting back to me to resolve any queries I had.I had a very positive experience with this store. They were transparent, and reliable.
