XV104 Riptide is the pinnacle of the Earth caste’s battlesuit development. It stands twice as tall as the XV8 Crisis suit, but its movements are more like those of its smaller cousins than the mechanical stiffness displayed by Imperial walkers with their crude servo-motors.
The XV104 Riptide takes the evolution of the T’au battlesuit to a whole new level. First and foremost the model is huge, towering over the rest of the T’au – even other battlesuits and tanks. Sleek and elegant armour panels, along with bolts and grills, cover its body. Despite its enormous size, with ball and socket joints it remains a manoeuvrable model whose arms and legs can be posed in a variety of different ways. Either standing tall or even kneeling down, you can use it as a unique, dynamic centrepiece for your T’au army. As well as three variant heads it comes with a range of weapons options including a heavy burst cannon, twin-linked smart missile systems, fusion blaster and Riptide shield generator. If that wasn’t enough, the kit also comes with two Shielded Missile Drones.
The Warhammer 40k T’au Empire XV104 Riptide Battlesuitmulti-part plastic kit contains 108 components and a T’au transfer sheet with which to make a XV104 Riptide Battlesuit and two Shielded Missile Drones.
This kit comes supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.

Preordered a large kickstarter that ran into recurring delays. Aside that aspect (waited almost a year extra) which is out of their control, I’m very satisfied with my order, now that it’s received. Delivery was swift and painless once it got dispatched. Maybe I’ll steer away from preorders for a while, and order only what’s available upfront.

I'm kicking myself for ever buying any games from Amazon. MUCH happier to buy from this newly discovered local shop, run by friendly employees. (As well as friendly fellow customers with great advice!) Some of their prices were cheaper than I've seen on Amazon!I could spend ages in this shop. Does the same thing to me that a bookstore does.Would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those trying to have less screen time and more connecting time. I had an excellent experience ordering from More Than Meeples online.Being a physical store, rather than a service that replies on multiple suppliers of varying reliability, their ability to accurately report on stock is an increasingly rare delight. It might sound like a strange thing to praise, but having had a few recent experiences ordering online from other stores, and then being told weeks later that the stock had never been there and being issues a refund, this was a very nice change.The staff were also wonderful to deal with.
