Eight challengers met in an old tavern. They were talking about their adventures. To prove that they are braver than everyone else, they throw away all of their equipment and enter a dark and dangerous dungeon to search for treasures hiding inside of it. If they make it back out of the dungeon with the treasure, their courage is proven. But it’s only a thin line between courage and lunacy. If they are too careless in the dungeon they have to pay with their lives…
‘The Dungeon of Mandom VIII Card Game‘ is the follow up of the 2013 Oink Games release ‘Dungeon of Mandom’. Like in the foreign version of the game there are now eight adventurers included (instead of only one), but the characters in this new version are exclusive to it. You could also call it the complete version of the former game! The game was designed by game designers “‘I was game’, whose game ‘War pulse’ is known for its high degree of perfection, and Mister Antoine Bauza who has the experience of winning several important prizes for his game ‘7 Wonders’. The illustrations were made by Hisanori Hiraoka who is known for his artworks for the digital game ‘Legendary Warriors’.
Playing this game the players will find themselves in a roleplay world, playing the role of one of the eight adventurers. It is about walking through a dangerous dungeon with as few equipment as possible. Bluffing and analysing are also parts of this atmospheric card game.

I'm kicking myself for ever buying any games from Amazon. MUCH happier to buy from this newly discovered local shop, run by friendly employees. (As well as friendly fellow customers with great advice!) Some of their prices were cheaper than I've seen on Amazon!I could spend ages in this shop. Does the same thing to me that a bookstore does.Would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those trying to have less screen time and more connecting time. I had an excellent experience ordering from More Than Meeples online.Being a physical store, rather than a service that replies on multiple suppliers of varying reliability, their ability to accurately report on stock is an increasingly rare delight. It might sound like a strange thing to praise, but having had a few recent experiences ordering online from other stores, and then being told weeks later that the stock had never been there and being issues a refund, this was a very nice change.The staff were also wonderful to deal with. A fantastic board game store in Brisbane. If you are looking for a massive range of board games, or trying to pick up that board game set that you missed out on supporting on Kickstarter, then this is the place for you. They have a really wide variety of great quality board games, card games and party games, plus the ability to purchase Kickstarter additions with different supporter options. The actual store is a little difficult to find, but once you do, you won't be disappointed by what is on offer. The staff were super friendly and helpful. When looking for a gift, for my board game aficionado friends, I always come looking at More Than Meeples.

There looks like there are a lot of games for the small amount of space there is. I did not get to check out the store at all since I had to dash to get home. Did not have a bad experience but if you are not used to city driving, I would recommend looking at where you are going as I ended up parking in the wrong carpark.
